For their Spring Summer 2027 collection, emerging Parisian label Valette Studio unveiled its unisex offering titled Dandys Dada. Presented as 24 meticulously constructed looks, the collection showcases Creative Director Pierre Francois Valette’s signature gender-fluid vision, masterfully balancing refined tailoring with experimental elements. Proudly made in Paris, the lineup embodies the brand’s casual couture ethos, where classic construction marries practical ease and creative disruption.

At the heart of the collection lies Valette Studio’s foundational commitment to savoir faire, the art of craftsmanship and technical know-how. This philosophy drives every garment, ensuring exceptional quality, thoughtful construction, and sustainable practices through limited production, local sourcing, and durable materials designed for longevity. The atelier is not merely a production space but a creative laboratory where technique and innovation converge, turning each piece into a dialogue between maker and wearer.

The collection explores a compelling dialogue between structure and fluidity. Precise tailoring draws on constructivist lines, featuring sharp silhouettes, padded shoulders, and functional details like repeating zips that allow garments to shift and adapt on the body. This disciplined architecture contrasts beautifully with the softness of flou and grand flou, lightweight semi-sheer fabrics such as silk mousseline and viscose jersey that introduce movement, transparency, and sensuality. Playful Dada-inspired disruptions appear through exaggerated volumes, shifted proportions, and collage-like effects. injecting avant-garde energy into otherwise elegant forms. Tradition under tension. Structure with story.

The color palette reinforces this tension: a rigorous base of black, white, off-white, and beige grounds the tailoring, while intense violet and earthen orange accents, alongside exclusive zebra and other motifs, add vibrancy and surprise. Styling choices amplified the spring-summer spirit: models with wet-look hair, sleek backs, clean minimalist makeup, and practical white loafers. Intentionally visible undergarments, including structured bandeau tops, bralettes, and briefs, enhanced the collection’s breathable, body-conscious appeal for warmer days, blurring the lines between intimacy and outer expression.

The runway opened with a striking all-black look, a buttoned blazer with pronounced padded shoulders paired with loose, voluminous trousers, setting an intimidating yet effortlessly relaxed tone. Accompanied by an expressive violin soundtrack, the show highlighted the brand’s ability to create dichotomies—sophistication and comfort,  discipline and playfulness—that resonate with contemporary audiences.

Before founding Valette Studio in 2020, Pierre Francois Valette built a strong foundation through work experiences at Isabel Marant and Saint Laurent. In 2019, he won first prize at the Saint Laurent Couture Institute, a pivotal moment that propelled him to launch his label. By 2021, he had secured a spot on the official Paris Fashion Week Men's calendar.

Today, Valette continues to redefine unisex tailoring with intelligence, craftsmanship, and a distinctly Parisian sensibility that feels both classic and forward-looking. Every seam tells a story of freedom, simplicity, and enduring elegance that the fashion world is longing for.
