Proenza Schouler's Fall Winter 2024 collection is made of hand-sheared shearling, leather, and double-face cashmere that create both strong and soft layers of protection. The abundance of knitwear and jersey provides a gentle cloak, while silk organza and technical lace create layers that speak as much to what is seen as what is not.
The collection features denim as an essential part of the woman's everyday wardrobe, but in a new wash and broken print that sits synonymously with the jumbled path of everyday life. The designers have paid particular attention to bags and shoes, too. The bags are focused on communicating a singular function and feeling, with intricate and spare options available. The new Silo Bag appears in smooth, supple leathers but also in an intricately knotted option. Eel and faux Ostrich are offered in the City, Flip, and Bond Bags, and the Split Tote offers a sleek vehicle in which to wrap up the realities of a hectic everyday life.

The shoes are low and grounded to bring unrestricted ease. Shiny calf conjures strength, while knit and satin boots, in some cases framed by ties and straps, intentionally reflect on soft and sparse simultaneously.
