Paris Design Week 2026 Celebrates the Future of Design

Paris Design Week kicked off this Autumn with equal enthusiasm as Milan Design Week. Nine official days, 4 quartiers, cocktails, talks, trade shows, demonstrations, cultural events, and 500 participants throughout Paris. Like Milan Design Week,, Paris has increased its presence in design this spring. The two fashion capitals of the world are now also leading in design.

Featuring new technologies, art, sculpture, interior design, and an enthusiasm that can only come from France. Paris and Milan design weeks differ, which is wonderful, as they both share the leadership of creativity and imagination for design.

One of the unique events was a post graduate program to explore design and #D printing. I talked with this group of emerging designers, who explored 3D printing and the bounds of how to create more with it. As I spoke with them during a showcase of their research and development across all aspects of the 3D process, they found endless possibilities.

Finalizing their research in this EU initiative really brought about a new creative process that is emerging in design.

Other veteran designers and artists showcased their artwork, design, and creativity. National monuments such as Place de la Bastille and the Grand Palais hosted some beautiful works that were amazing to experience.

Another designer built an iconic French beach car over two years with luxury details, gold, marble, and other precious parts to create a very unique piece. Light and other sculpted details adorned other designer spaces.

Like Milan, it was a lot to experience and be inspired by. With all the various creative ideas, talks, spaces, and art, it is absolutely worth the experience!
