A First Look at Women’s FW2025 Trends as Milan and Paris Kick Off

The fashion season for Women's FW2025 has begun, and the excitement builds as the pinnacles of fashion are in Milan today, followed by Paris in a few weeks.  A focus of this season that has ended in NYC and London has been the start of Women's FW2025, showing individuality, comfort, organic styles, and borrowed pieces from the Men's style. Burberry made a terrific runway, finishing up LFW as a highlight of the season.

The designer, Daniel Lee, really came into his own this season with the brand, showing some beautiful looks and styles that will remain classic throughout the season and beyond, making Burberry a new focal point for the designer's runway accomplishment. Previewing the season on the mainland of the EU, Patou and Proenza-Schouler give us a taste of what the jewel centers of fashion will reveal for the FW2025 runways. 

Patou, a brand known for its crisp and organic women's looks, has made some great styles this season. Collars of all types in jewelry and in the overall design create a nice look and distinctive style. Alligator and precision-cut fabrics also make for a sensual look and style for the woman's silhouette that is greatly celebrated.

Clean vinyl in footwear, accessories, and coats reflects alluring, appealing, and sexy looks. Another noted part of Patou's recent collection is the golden buttons, chains, and jewelry that accent every look - a beautiful collection that is sure to make this season's styles a wonderful addition to the wardrobe. 

Proenza-Schouler, in contrast, has a very warm and inviting approach to their collection in a way that is cozy and grounded. Large oversized pockets and pants reminded me of older fashion from the 20s-30s, with a modern take and precision style.

Pleats are some of the most beautiful additions to the style and fashion of the FW2025 work. Clean and crisp, yet confidently hug the form in an earthy and warm way that feeds the fire in the collection. Draping along with leathers, natural fabrics, and colors that perfectly balance the fall feeling. 

Both brands make some confident statements that show off different looks and feelings of the fall. They use more organic feels, precision, and contemporary cuts and forms to match the warm feeling of the FW2025 work this year. These brands are a great start to the top cities of fashion in the world and make for a nice spark to continue into the season.
