In general, Paris and the EU are home to the most picturesque holiday markets and events. As the season comes from autumn into the Holiday season, brands from footwear to jewelry to fashion and style continue to be released in between the main fashion seasons. This Autumn season has yielded some beautiful work to keep the fire going.
Today was the release of the ”Biseau” jewelry collection by designer Charlotte Chesnais, who took inspiration from Alberto Giacometti with his decorative arts, curves, and simple forms of duality in her work. The shimmery golds and silvers create a unique curve to the body by drawing attention to not only the metallic forms but also to the soft organics of the wearer. These make a great idea for something unique, modern, and artistic for the holiday season.
This week is another warming and cozy release from the Glamoda x Sophie Hermann collection FW 24/25. The works focus on some classical elements of tartan along with this season’s schoolgirl fashion elements but with a touch of confident style. Several striking colours for the season combined with formal cuts make for a complete and alluring look. The Lebanese designer Abeer Stouhi has really created a collection that captures the designs for this season and will keep that tantalizing look in this autumn.
Another recent release is the collaboration collection of Alexandra Golovanoff and Violette Serrat with their “Rouge de Minuit”. The pieces are stunning in terms of material and style. With comfortable fuzzy fabrics, wine colours, and an organic look for the work, The Webster in SOHO Miami will be hosting this collection, available to ogle and coerce you into the perfect holiday fashion purchase.
For Homme is the newest release from Father & Sons in Paris. The clean cuts, warm fabrics, and handsome looks are perfect. Bold, confident, and earthy solid colours make for an attractive, refined look while also adding a line of several fashion accessories for the complete look for all the occasions happening this season.
Finally, for this season’s releases, there is the pre-Spring 2025 collection from Proenza Schouler. What is there not to like about this collection? The pieces are exquisite with fine leathers, elegant fabrics, and warm and light looks all in one. The styles are simple but drape with a strong purpose that makes for a complete look. Finalizing the collection are fine fashion handbags, shoes, and other accessories that complement all the pieces.
Although the fashion season has ended for this year, the small collections in between the seasons are beautiful and fill the gap beautifully. The looks and styles that can make your holiday season sizzle with confidence continue the excitement of the past season. Slow fashion is settling into its niche with small batches and pieces that complement and add to this year’s work and promise to continue into the following year.
